Stephen J. Gershberg, DMDStephen J. Gershberg, DMD Dr. Gershberg graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 1983. He completed a yearlong advanced course in surgical implant dentistry at the New York University College of Dentistry, learning techniques for medically complex cases. A faculty and staff member of Albert Einstein College of Medicine and sought after lecturer, Dr. Gershberg regularly speaks on and teaches residents and dentists about the art and science of dental implants and implant cosmetics. Dr. Gershberg continues to hone his craft and expand his knowledge by attending hundreds of hours of continuing education programs, as well as through the implementation of the newest technologies at his leading edge practice. With a passion for dentistry that is unmistakable, Dr. Gershberg brings an artist's eye and a dedication to changing lives at his cosmetic dental practice in Bryn Mawr, PA. Implant-Retained, Removable Dentures
Dr. Gershberg will place two to four implant posts, then secure your denture with snaps or ball-and-socket attachments. This solution eliminates slippage and looseness when eating and speaking, so you can feel confident and comfortable in public situations. The denture remains removable for easy care and cleaning.
Implant-Retained, Fixed Dentures
For a non-removable denture, Dr. Gershberg affixes the denture to four or six dental implants. He prefers to use the All-on-Four(TM) system or an all-on-six system, which have an excellent reputation. For replacing teeth on the upper arch, this solution has no palate coverage, which means you will find it more comfortable and you will be able to taste your food better. With All-on-Four, the denture can only be removed by a dentist. Care for your implant-retained, fixed denture as you would your natural teeth.
Implant-Retained, Fixed Cosmetic Bridgework
Secured to five to eight dental implant posts, this cosmetic solution is much like a traditional, cemented bridge. This prosthetic, however, is permanently secured to implant posts for maximum stability. Dr. Gershberg can replace all of your missing teeth with this cosmetic solution, and the results rival nature’s best work.
